How do I set up an account for trust investment?

To set up a trust, you'll need to complete and submit the following documents:

  • Investment Account Application Form (for Trust Investments) signed by all trustees
  • Original or certified copy of the trust deed and all subsequent deeds of amendment
  • If it’s a Will trust, we’ll need an original or certified copy of the Will, the Grant of Probate and all subsequent deeds of amendment
  • Tax residency individual self-certification for the account holders
  • Identification documents for all trustees and any adult beneficiary with an absolute entitlement
  • Cheque or telegraphic transfer form

SICAV investments must be completed on a separate application and FATCA requirements apply. An individual self-certification form must be provided for anyone other than the trustees, who has a controlling interest in the trust, such as absolute entitled beneficiaries. We also require identification documents for any adult beneficiary with an absolute entitlement.
