What is a rebate?

A rebate is a way of refunding or discounting the ongoing charges you pay on a fund. Money is received from the fund manager on a quarterly basis and then reinvested into your account, normally in the form of additional units. However, if the rebate value is below £1 or the investment it came from no longer has any holdings (following a sell or switch) then we will put the money into cash within your account.
